2 CommentsThere are many softwares available in the market to make your PC into a virtual machine with a completely new OS (Operating System) like VMware. But today, I will make a small post on how to create a virtual OS of the OS you are currently using without starting from a scratch. (It will be a snapshot and none of your data will be deleted.
Disk2VHD is a small little program that will help you to make a virtual operating system in just a few minutes. It will convert your entire PC into a Microsoft Virtual PC virtual machine. The catch is that it will only run on Microsoft Virtual PC but that’s not a major issue since it is free.

0 CommentsUsing Windows 7 since the past couple of days, I felt it strange that it didn’t have the usual hibernation option. So, I decided to check whether they are completely removed the Hibernation option or it had to be started manually. I tried manually, and it worked
In Windows 7, it is complicated to enable the Hibernation option as compared to XP or Vista. So, we need to do it manually.
Enabling Hibernation In Windows 7 Through Power Options
1. Go to Control Panel and click on Change when the computer sleeps.
After that just click on Choose Advanced Power Settings. This is when the Advanced Settings dialog box will popup. You can notice that in the category there is Sleep and under that is Hibernate. Expand Hibernate and then choose the time period of hibernation ![]()
